A woman was killed in an accident with an elevator in Boston Monday night.
Emergency personnel flooded the area outside the building shortly after noon. 17 Monday. At the scene, authorities told Boston 25 that they had responded to reports of a captured woman.
Eric Carmichael’s wife heard her cries for help.
“She heard a woman in need and tried to help her as a neighbor,” Carmichael said.
Carmichael says his wife saw the woman try to put a package on the elevator.
“The lady was trying to put a package in the elevator, that’s how we do it,” Charmichael said.
Police later removed a large and long brown box from the building. They first moved it out, bent it on a mailbox and took it away.
The victim, who has only been identified as a woman in her 30s, has not yet been identified. The circumstances surrounding her death are still unknown. It was not immediately clear whether she was a resident of the building or an employee at the workplace.

“Five meters in front of my door is the elevator, so it’s very creepy,” Foskit said.
Foskit says the construction manager told him the elevator was stuck between the floors.

“Everything he told me was that [the elevator] was currently between the first floor and the basement, “said Foskit.”[The elevator has] always worked fine. I have been here for over a year and have never had a problem with it. ”
People living at the address were shocked by what happened. Nevada Foskit waited for more than 90 minutes to return to his home.

“I just heard a wicked scream and we ran into the hallway and saw a gentleman in distress screaming and hyperventilating and saying she was dead, she’s dead,” a woman who lives in the building and who did not want to be identified, Boston told 25 News.
Boston Police are investigating, and OSHA has also assigned a team to find out what happened.
