Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden compared President Trump to the late Cuban dictator Fidel Castro while speaking to Univision Orlando on Tuesday.
Trump has accused Biden of being a tool of the far left and claims that Democrats are pushing socialist ideas, but the former vice president turned that comparison around in an interview with the Spanish language.
BIDEN SAYS HE HAS BEEN ABOUT TRUMP’S ‘INSURRECTION’ TALK IN SPANISH LANGUAGE INTERVIEW
“Trump has more in common with Castro than with Churchill,” Biden said, adding, “See who he admires. He admires Putin, he admires Xi, he admires anyone who behaves in an authoritarian way. I am exactly the opposite. I have faith in the democratic system. “

In 2016, Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton beat Trump by more than 25 points among Florida’s Latin American voters, according to polls, but Trump still won the state.
Biden told reporters as he headed to Florida this week that his mission in the state would be to convict Spanish-speaking voters.
“I want to talk about how I want to work as the devil to make sure I turn every Latino and Latin American voice,” Biden said when asked by journalists what his message would be in the country’s largest traditional election campaign state.
OFFER PANNED TO PLAY ‘DESPACITO’ ON HISPANIAN HERITAGE MONTHLY MOVEMENT
A Democratic operator in Florida was pessimistic about Biden’s current position among Spanish voters, telling The Hill: “There really is no good answer here if you are the Biden campaign.”
The bite got some flak in a crooked moment at a campaign event in Kissimmee, Florida Tuesday night.
Biden paused and reached for his phone in his pocket as he reached the podium at the event, which was to commemorate the Spanish Heritage Month.
“I just have one thing to say,” Biden began as he looked down at his phone. “Wait here.”
He then held his phone to the microphone, which began playing the 2017 hit song “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi, who had introduced the candidate. After about 15 seconds of bubbling head and dancing gently behind the podium, he stopped the music.

“I’m telling you what – if I had a talent from one of these people, I’d be elected president by acclamation,” Biden chuckled.
“Oh,” CBS News correspondent Ed O’Keefe responded.
“Is @JoeBiden aware that Despacito means ‘slow’? Fits Slow Joe well,” said Trump campaign senior adviser Mercedes Schlapp.
