may be over, but there are still some and a few Walmart “Big Save” deals as well. That means you can still find great deals on some of your favorite headphones, including Apple’s top-of-the-line noise-canceling genuine wireless headphones and Sony̵
Note that prices and availability were accurate at the time of publication, but they may fluctuate.

New iPhones were unveiled on Tuesday and they come without wired headphones in the box for the first time ever. Meanwhile, Apple’s current top of the line noise-canceling genuine wireless headphones are back on sale for $ 199. It’s still pricey, but it’s $ 50 off what you pay in the Apple Store, and $ 20 less than their usual price on Amazon . Read our Apple AirPods Pro review.

The WF-1000XM3 earbuds for $ 230. They briefly dipped to $ 170 earlier in the year, but for $ 178 they are still the best sounding wireless earphones in this price range and also have active noise reduction technology to reduce ambient noise.
The only drawback is that the WF-1000XM3 earbuds are not classified as sweat-resistant or waterproof headphones. That said, I have used them for light workouts with a little sweat in the gym with no issues. They use Bluetooth 5.0 with AAC support but not aptX.
Note that we expected Sony to release the next generation of the WF-1000XM4, but at this point we may not see them until 2021. Read our Sony WF-1000XM3 review.

It took a while, but now we finally have a new genuine wireless noise-canceling sports model from Sony: the WF-SP800N. Funny enough, I wrote at the end of my mostly positive review that I would like to see them more in the $ 160- $ 175 series. They were recently down to $ 127, but the current $ 148 price is still $ 50 below the list and $ 20 below their usual street price.
This is not quite the WF-1000XM3 with a water-repellent body. It lacks Sony’s QN1e processor, but there is still a lot to like about it, including very good sound, solid noise reduction and good call quality. It’s definitely a significant upgrade over the WF-SP700N, which came out in 2018, and its “bows” (sports fins) lock the knobs in your ears. Just make sure you get a tight seal from one of the included earplugs, otherwise both sound and noise reduction will be weak. Read our Sony WF-SP800N review.
The WF-XB700 is in the company’s Extra Bass line and lists for $ 130. I’ve tried them and really liked their fit. Their sound quality is not similar to the WF-1000XM3 or WF-SP800N (it lacks some clarity), but if you like bass, they are decent sounding earphones. I thought they were a little expensive at $ 130. At $ 52 off or $ 78 – equivalent to their lowest time – they are a much more enticing option. Read our Sony WF-XB700 extra bass for the first time.
Sony’s latest noise-canceling headphones get a $ 50 discount on Prime Day, and Amazon has thrown in a $ 25 gift card to make the deal sweeter.
The new WH-1000XM4 has improved voice dialing (compared to the WH-1000XM3) and also adds multipoint Bluetooth pairing so you can connect to two devices – like your phone and PC – at the same time. This means that if you make a call while using the headphones with your computer, the sound changes to your phone when you answer the call.
The Bose Noise Canceling Headphones 700 probably still have the edge for voice calls, but the 1000XM4 headphones are without a doubt a bit more comfortable and have some other improvements in noise reduction and sound that make this model a great choice everywhere. Read our Sony WH-1000XM4 review.
When Bose released its new flagship Noise Canceling 700 headphones, it did not drop the QuietComfort 35 II from its headphone lineup, and this is still a top noise reduction model. While I think the 700 performs better overall, there are people who prefer the QuietComfort 35 II.
While the QuietComfort 35 II lists for $ 350, it is usually on sale for $ 300 or less. But $ 199 is about the lowest price we have seen for it. It is also for sale at Best Buy. Read our Bose QuietComfort 35 II review.
Amazon’s Echo Buds sound decent, are great for making calls – they have Bose noise reduction technology – and have hands-free Alexa to issue voice commands without pressing any buttons. I thought they were a little expensive at $ 130, but they are much more enticing at $ 80, especially after getting some firmware upgrades that have improved their performance. Read our Amazon Echo Buds review.
If you can not afford the Sony WH-1000XM4, the company’s more noise-canceling WH-CH710N headphones are at the $ 88 level after hitting $ 100 recently. They do not offer sound quality, build quality or noise-reducing performance from Sony’s 1000X models, but for $ 88 they offer good value for money. However, I do not think they are worth being near $ 200, their list price.
Standard AirPods with wired charging case have sold for $ 125 on Amazon. But for Prime Day, the price is $ 115, giving an extra $ 10 savings. While I would like to see them hit $ 99, this is about the best price you will see for standard AirPods. Airpods with the wireless charging case are for sale for $ 150 (they are for $ 200, but are also sold for less than that).

Microsoft’s over-ear noise-canceling Surface Headphones 2 was released earlier this year, and the biggest change from their predecessor is the price: The original Surface Headphones were launched for $ 350, while the Headphones 2 cost $ 250 – and now Amazon has them for $ 200 to Prime Day.
While they have lost their hands-free Cortana voice control feature (a change no one will complain about) and the sound quality has not improved (it is quite good, but not great), the combination of some small design tweaks, better battery life, upgraded Bluetooth and the new lower price helps to get their rating up and make them more recommendable.
Their multi-point Bluetooth pairing feature allows you to pair them with two devices at the same time (such as a computer and phone) and quickly switch the sound from each device to the headphones. It is an appealing feature seen from work from home and these also work well for making voice calls. Read our review of Microsoft Surface Headphones 2.

The Sony WH-XB900N is similar to the Sony WH-1000XM4. However, it is not that snazzy and it does not deliver quite the same level of sound quality and noise reduction performance, although it does share some of its features. But if you like bass, it has plenty – it’s a Sony Extra Bass headphone after all. It is also a comfortable headphone with decent noise reduction features. We saw it dip in price to around $ 150 in last year’s annual buying season, so $ 123 is a good price. Read our Sony WH-XB900N review.

Beats’ Powerbeats Pro list for $ 250, but usually sells for $ 200. These earplugs cost $ 175 for Prime Day, which is about as low as we’ve seen them. Note that only the black and white models are for sale for $ 175.
