A firestorm was lit late on Sunday on Twitter after many people began reporting that they could not follow the pro-life "Unplanned" movie that hit theaters over the weekend.
The continuing problems with the movie's Twitter account came after it was mysteriously banned Saturday and was only resumed later in the day after widespread violence. Twitter did not provide details on why the account was suspended.
At the end of Sunday, thousands of people noticed that each time they tried to follow the movie's account, their Twitter accounts automatically fill out account administrators later. Daily Wire experienced the same problem when trying to track the account and did not experience the same problem when following multiple accounts at the same time.
Actress Patricia Heaton tweeted: "Hey @jack – why don't you let me follow @UnplannedMovie? I've tried eight times to support my friend @AbbyJohnson and @ Twitter won't let me in. Others have the same problem. Thanks. "
Lila Rose, the founder and president of Live Action, noted that the platform had taken tens of thousands of supporters away from the "unplanned" account.
