The song was released on Friday and has since garnered 28 million views on YouTube. Many could easily tell Grande added and updated riff on "My Favorite Things," from the hit movie The Sound of Music.

The New York rapper, Princess Nokia, was the author of the video. first to point out how familiar the lyrics in Grande's new song sound.
The rapper took to Instagram to question what she believes to be more than a coincidence.
In the Instagram video, that is know deleted, Princess Nokia is seen listening to a few seconds or "7 rings". After that, the rapper turns into a few seconds of her song 'Mine', a song off of her 1992 mixtape released in 2017.

Not only is Ariana Grande getting called out for copying Princess Nokia's lyrics, but many are accusing '7 Rings' of sounding very similar to Soulja Boy's 2010 hit "Pretty Boy Swag".
Soulja Boy posted a fan's self-made video of the news that the two songs that make have made many wonder if Ariana Grande put her own twist on the 2010 hit?
