Aqib Talib said he was not in the mood to tell stories of his term with the New England Patriots. But he wanted to share a brief overview of what he enjoyed playing under Bill Belichick in 2012 and 2013.
"I don't know. I liked my whole time there. I really liked winning," said Talib on Monday during the Super Bowl LIII Opening Night in Atlanta. "I can really keep it up. I really like winning and we win when we were over there."
An answer that would make Bill Belichick proud.
Tom Brady was willing to share a fun story about Talib.
"The day we got him, I remember that coach Belichick brought him over to see if he could play the receiver after practice," Brady said in an interview with the NFL Network at Opening Night. "He could have been just as good a recipient as he is a corner."
Talib loved it.
"He got me all excited. I thought I should have a recipient package," Talib said. "Tom threw me passing. So I can really say I caught passing by Tom Brady."
