Apple launched new Apple Watch straps today that have no buckles or buckles, called Solo Loop and Braided Solo Loop. They look nice, but because you can not adjust the length of the strap, you will have to measure your wrist somehow when you buy one to make sure you choose the right size. And this problem becomes more difficult due to the fact that there are 12 total loop sizes to choose from.
However, Apple has a few solutions to help you choose a good fit. The company has a printable measuring cutout on its website that you can use to find out which loop tape to buy. Alternatively, if you are able to measure your wrist in a different way (eg with a measuring tape), you can connect your measurements in the Apple online store to get a recommendation on which loop strap is right for you. And Apple will probably let you try different loop sizes in its Apple stores, but many of them are still closed due to the COVID-1
However, there is an additional complication. The largest three loop sizes are not compatible with a 40 mm watch, while the three smallest sizes do not work with a 44 mm watch. This means, for example, that if you want the smaller watch but have a large wrist, you may not be able to get one of the new Loop straps that suits you.
Silicone Solo Loop costs $ 49 and is available in seven different colors, while Braided Solo Loop costs $ 99 and is available in five colors. You can also purchase them as an option when choosing a new Apple Watch SE, Series 4, Series 5 or Series 6.
