In the FCC documentation, Apple states that the unreleased A2159 machine is a curious MacBook Pro as the MacBook Pro already received an update in 2019 in May.
A2159 is a model that was not included in the May update, and it is not entirely clear what it is. As a Reddit user points out, the back of the machine says it is rated at 20.3V ̵
There is a possibility that Apple plans to launch an updated 13-inch MacBook Pro without a touchline, which is one of the non-receiving machines a May update. Non-Touch Bar 13-inch MacBook Pro hasn't seen an update since 2017.
Apple also says to develop a 16-inch MacBook Pro that has a new design and larger screen possibly enabled through slimmer brackets, although it is not clear whether it is the machine described in the FCC document given the specified power information.
FCC approvals tend to be published just when a new machine Launched so we could see the model A2159 MacBook Pro very soon.
Update: The FCC has pulled the entire documentation on the new A2159 machine.
