Apple usually releases new products in the fall following an annual schedule prior to a major holiday sales season. But this year is different. In the midst of a pandemic that has disrupted production and affected economies around the world, Apple’s event is virtual instead of a personal live showcase with the press and guests present.
So far, Apple has announced the Apple Watch Series 6, Apple Watch SE, the new 8th generation iPad, a new iPad Air, Fitness + training services and new Apple One service packages.
Apple is not expected to announce new iPhones on Tuesday. Instead, Apple could save that revelation for a future product launch.
