Respawn has provided another update on the Apex Legends bug that occurred Wednesday. In a post on Reddit, it explained that " players were inadvertently moved to the wrong servers that did not have their persistence, and that meant that players' accounts should be reset with all progression lost." It confirmed that it had not lost the player's progress and that it intentionally closed live servers to get things back on track.
Because of this, Respawn said that your progress should be intact – that is, until Update 1.1 went live at. 10.00 PT Wednesday. However, everything you did after that, provided you installed the update, has returned. Here's what Respawn said exactly:
- All purchases and advances made in the time between 1
- Any purchased currency, used or not, will be transferred to their original account state. that is – if you bought $ 20 worth of coins and spent $ 18, you will get $ 20 after the repair.
With all this sorted, you can now check what's new in the latest program. The highlights, as mentioned below, include a way to hook up with squadmates you've matched with, among other things. The original story follows.
Respawn has shown a warning that there is a very serious error in Apex Legends right now. It's bound to battle royal title latest update, patch 1.1 – which is live now – and it deletes your in-game progress. Meanwhile, the game's servers look down at the time of this writing.
To avert the error, Respawn wrote a quick post on Reddit, advising all players to "not buy or do anything" until the problem is resolved. The entry did not specify any specific platform, so it is understood that the error affects all versions of Apex Legends on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. There is no timetable for how long it will be before it is resolved or if the players involved will be able to restore their lost progress
It also seems that players can no longer log into Apex Legends servers, regardless of platform . Specifically, players get an error stating "no servers found." It is possible that the servers have been deliberately closed to stop the players from logging in and losing their progress. However, Respawn has not issued an official statement regarding the server's shutdown.
The current update, Patch 1.1, is (ironically) a quality of life card for Apex Legends. Patch 1.1 adds a feature that allows you to invite the squadmates you've just played with to join a party. So, if there is ever a random teammate, you will find online that you want to play with again, you can easily find them. The update also implements a dumb button on Apex Legends & # 39; intro and character selection screens, creating an opportunity to report players to cheat or "Other". Octan's jumping pants no longer influence the Wraith while she also uses her Into the Void ability.
Patch 1.1 also implements a few bug fixes. The three of them are outlined below. If you are curious, Respawn has submitted the full patch notes to Apex Legend's latest update on Reddit.
Apex Legends Patch 1.1 Bug Fixes
- Fixed problem where Battle Pass rewards page would not have chosen a standard item, resulting in a mostly blank page.
- Fixed bug for PS4 and Xbox One, sometimes trying to use a keyboard to chat, can cause a fatal script error.
- Fixed bug with banner cards that do not appear during and at the end of a match.
