'Apex Legends' Put A New Character's In The Game Early You Can Try Out

It's the worst kept secret in the world that Apex Legends is about To start a new character alongside its first battle pass, or very close to it. That character should be none other than Octane, who has some sort of Stimpack move in his kit that echoes a skill we saw in Titanfall 2 [1

And now you can try that jump path for yourself in the game right now.

At first this seemed like an error, and asset making It's way into the game by accident, now it looks more like an early tease from Respawn done purposefully. These pads are scattered around the Marketplace area for you to try out, and when people were asking what was up with them, why a new character's The story came early in the game, a respawn dev replied with a simple wink emoji, sea Apex Legends as you can launch a lot of high up, up onto rooftops several stories up, as you can see for yourself if you play around with it in the marketplace. I am imagining that if this is Octane's normal skill and the Stimpack is his end, which two can be combined to potentially send him flying.

This is an item that can be used by your entire team. I am already picturing being used in conjunction with Pathfinder's grappling hook for some sick aerial moves, you could, I know, launching a caustic onto a roof where players are hiding and gas bomb that instantly or something. Also, enemies can use the path as well, like enemies can use Wraith portals or Lifeline healing. So they could A) chase you with it or you could throw one out and have an enemy sail over you to disorient them as you shoot them. Not sure what will be like that because the ones in the game are just static and it's not clear how they're deployed, but it's what I'm picturing.

I still have idea where the battle pass is and why it takes so long to arrive, but when it does, I'm guessing that Octane will be there as well. Possibly even as the prize at the end of the rainbow at Tier 100 or something, depending on how this battle pass works.
