Continuing with the theme of animations and colors, Google has added a nice little animation in Android 12 for Pixel 4 owners that highlights the face lock sensor when used.
A small change that owners of Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL might notice after jumping into Android 12 Beta 2 is a nice little animation that happens when the device is unlocked. As the lock screen disappears, a wave of color is emitted from the top of the screen down to the bottom, meaning that face lock was just used.
This is roughly similar to some other animations found on Pixels in Android 12, including two similar “waves” that appear when the device is charging. Like these animations, this one also changes to match the theme of your wallpaper.
In particular, we do not see the same animation on other Pixel smartphones running the same build, only on Pixel 4. Given the poor sales and reception of Pixel 4, it is almost strange to see Google give it a certain feature, but still it̵
