Today in a livestream seemingly separate from CES 2021 – which can really say more – the audio company Anker unveiled its new true wireless earphones, Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro.
Not to be confused with the Liberty Air 2 or Liberty 2 Pro, these new earbuds have active noise reduction, up to 26 hours of playback time (including the suitcase’s charging capacity) and claims of significantly higher bass. Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro is now available online from the Soundcore store, Amazon and more in Northern Europe, Japan and the US for $ 129.99.
The earplugs have targeted active noise reduction, which allows you to choose from profiles such as Transport, Indoor and Outdoor to better tailor noise-reducing performance to your surroundings. There is also a new transparency mode with different levels of ambient sound amplification when you need to hear your surroundings.
The earplugs also have built-in noise reduction to remove annoying sounds.
The case supports fast charging via USB-C – 15 minutes of charging apparently gives you three hours of listening – and it is compatible with Qi-certified wireless charging options. The Soundcore app will also offer a new HearID feature that analyzes your listening patterns and automatically creates a personal EQ profile (you can always just set your own EQ in the app too).
