No mushrooms for anyone else
They say “Just because a day started badly does not mean it can not end well,” but they do not tell you what to do if it is crazy at both ends AND all the way through. There is still always a bright spot tucked away somewhere every day, right? And for me, it’s probably going to have to be this rad artwork of a 60 foot high incarnation of Splatoonis wonderful host, Pearl.
I mean, I know I called her “the queen of the world,” but this is probably one little much.
This delightfully psychedelic work of art has been released by Nintendo to promote an upcoming splat party taking place in Switch shooter Splatoon 2 this weekend. The topic of debate this time concerns two iconic power-ups from Super Mario Bros. franchise, namely Super Mushroom and Super Star. As can be seen from the artwork, Pearl will be in the corner of the big ̵
As always, players will have the chance to fight for the selected team and score points in Normal and Pro Play as well as participate in a public poll. The Splat party begins on Friday 15 January at 14:00 PT / 17:00 / 23:00 BST, where the curtain falls at the same time on Sunday 17 January. The winning team will be announced shortly thereafter.
