Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez hits Fox News & # 39; male hosts with occupation questions
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) Thursday laughs at the occupation that some Fox News personalities seem to have with her.
"I mean, it's weird," she told the "Late Night" host Seth Meyers. "Why are so many adult men just obsessed with this 29-year-old?"
"It's really fun and the conspiracy theories are good," she added.
Fox News hosts, including Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson, have repeatedly criticized the progressive lawmaker and her proposed Green New Deal.

🎶What would you do if I song out of tune,
do you want to get up and go out on me? /
Borrow me your ears and I will sing you a song /
and i will try not to sing out of the key. /
Oh, I'm passing by with some help from my friends /
mm, will try some help from my friends 🎶
This was one of my dad's favorite songs. Before passing by, he built a trellis for my mother with his hand in our backyard. He wanted to enroll this text around the edges, but never got the chance. I have always felt that this is a loving song, but a love song for friendship.
This #international womens day I think of (and grateful for) sisterhood. In the heart of the sisterhood, as so many meaningful relationships, is love. And for me, loving people are not about who you are trying to be a "rockstar" in front of. Love is about who you are scared to let you sing out of tune. 🎤

Smooth St. Pat's for All Parade Day from Sunnyside, Queens! ☘️
St. Pat for All parade began as a demonstration for LGBTQ + involvement in St. The Patrick's Day celebrations, when people originally tried to keep the LGBT community out of the parade (unfortunately some NYC parades still – talking to the work still doing back). The Queens community would not stand it, and 20 years ago, the community launched St. Pat for All to celebrate Irish values of invitation and integration for all people – no matter who you love or what your station in life can be.
Launched by Councilman Danny Dromm + activist Brendan Fay, St. Pat & # 39; s for All is a core tradition in NY14, and happens a little before St. Patrick's Day Parade throughout the city.
YEEERRRRRR 🙅🏿♂️🙅🏽♀️🙅🏽♂️ 🔥 Had a blast and honor to be the first guest of @shodesusandmero today! They also visited me in DC and gave a couple of homework gifts from home 🎁 just aired – check it out!

Losar Tashi Delek! Spent this morning with our NY-14 Tibetan community to celebrate the New Year of the Moon ✨ This little and I played with giving each other Tibetan white scarves or khatas, which are promising tokens to honor others on holidays and special occasions. We had so much fun! 19
Behind every strong woman … are more strong women 😉 #ittakesavillage
We open doors so others can go through them.
If Republicans believed that women dancing in college is outrageous, wait until they find out that women are dancing in Congress too! 19
Tonight we celebrated #Chanukah together with @jfrejnyc and many others. It was a storm, and Rabbi Mia showed me the honor of helping her light the Shamash servant light that sparks the others. I am so inspired by the idea that each one of us can be a "shamash" for our friends, family and community. Let's take that energy and light into the beginning of this coming week!
"No one puts a scarf on my head but me. It's my choice – one protected by the first amendment." – @ilhanmn, badass-elect, MN
Ilhan is my homie! 👯♀️ I am so proud of her and proud to support her as we break down the doors to overthrow the 181-year-old House Rule, who says scarves are not allowed in Congress.
This year and with Ilhan's leadership, we will turn the script and tell hijabi girls all over the world that they can run the board, fight for Medicare for All and rock a good scarf if they want.

Today's day. For the innumerable followers, doorbells, organizers, donors from small dollars and everyone in between – thank you.
This journey has been one of the most challenging and rewarding collective efforts I've ever been to. We have not just run a campaign – we created a movement in our own backyard. We built communities. We centered issues that nobody wanted to talk about. We lifted our neighbors and discovered a level of + friendship we never thought possible.
Thanks to everyone who has been a part of this journey and followed us to this moment. Whatever happens, it's just a beginning. Let us continue to shift from shoulder to shoulder to promote economic, social and racist justice in the United States.
We're out there hitting the streets and connecting the community in November – the swing of our Queens & Bronx offices came in to pitch in!
Use your power.
For so many, it is radical to feel comfortable in your own skin – and to know that you are more than enough, just like you are.
One of my favorite quotes is from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr: "Anyone can be good … because someone can earn. You don't have to have a college degree to earn. You don't have to do your subject and the verb agrees to serve. You only need a heart full of grace, a soul created by love. "
So take a seat. Speak up. Keep the door open and take others with you. Accept that you will be criticized no matter what – it's the price of struggle for change and innovation. I consider constructive criticism as a blueprint for improvement and a medicine for ego.
Ultimately, the people who come down are focused on adversity, and the incredible work of change is the one that transforms society. We can all be part of it if we choose it. We can all beat a door, register our cousin to vote, or educate us on a question we are curious about.
We are all able to awaken and engage. And because of that, we can all be big.
Another day, another door 🚪

On Thursday's broadcast of "Fox & Friends," former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee (R) said Ocasio-Cortez could be a "manchurian candidate. "
Ocasio-Cortez refused Huckabee's suggestion and recalled an incident on the house floor when she had to close a GOP representative who had repeated a dubious claim to her that he had previously seen on Fox News. See above Ocasio-Cortez's comments on Fox News above and her explains about Green New Deal below:
