Adding “Standby” to Wait Times in My Disney Experience Suggests FastPass May Return Soon

Since Walt Disney World reopened last year, the FastPass + service has been suspended due to COVID-19. But with physical distance changes and more, we may be able to see the convenient liner soon return (changed to a paid format according to the long-standing rumors, but nothing has been confirmed yet). An update to the My Disney Experience app also points to the return of FastPasses.

The word “standby” has been added to the submitted wait times in the app, indicating that there is (or will be) another option than standby. This may also indicate that virtual queues will be installed in more attractions.
