The 55th annual Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM) is upon us again, but this time things will look different than previous years.
Keith Urban is set to host the affair for the first time Wednesday night, and favorite performers deliver hits live from Nashville, Tennessee, after the show was moved from Las Vegas amid the coronavirus pandemic.
This year, the ACMs also go without the audience, but that doesn’t mean the fan interaction won’t be in effect.
TAYLOR SWIFT TO PERFORM ‘BETTY’ AT ACM AWARD, HER FIRST LAND AWARD SHOWS PERFORMANCE IN 7 YEARS
Fans looking at home can expect to see who’s who with country music, such as Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini, Taylor Swift and a host of others, including Urban, Pink, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Carrie Underwood, Trisha Yearwood, Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, Dan + Shay, Luke Combs, Tim McGraw, Maren Morris, Old Dominion and Thomas Rhett with Jon Pardi.
The performances are different this year in the sense that they take place from three separate venues in and around Nashville, each with their own unique history, including the Grand Ole Opry House, historic Ryman Auditorium and The Bluebird Cafe.

The nominations place the industry’s best against each other, with Morris and Rhett leading the stout performance lineup in overall nominations. Bryan, Church, Combs, Underwood and Rhett are ready to consider the coveted title of Entertainer of the Year.
Presenters for the evening include Lauren Alaina, Lily Aldridge, Clint and Lisa Hartman Black, Bobby Bones, Cam, Darius Rucker and Runaway June.
As the show expects so many live performances, some of the winners have already been announced ahead of the big night.
Lambert, Morris, Ashley McBryde, Tenille Townes, Caylee Hammack and Elle King took home the honors in the Music Event of the Year category for the ACM Award for “Fooled Around And Fell In Love.”
