A strafanger was stabbed after a woman accused him of fondling the subway in Manhattan, police said Sunday.
The 29-year-old rides the southbound 5 line on East Side around 8:30 pm Saturday when a woman started arguing with the man, police said.
"Stop playing with yourself," said the woman according to law enforcement sources.
The man told the woman that he was not and the fight eventually struck physical, police said.
The roar spilled on the platform at East 59 Street and Lexington Avenue where the woman stuck him in the shoulder, police said.
The woman, considered to be in the 30s, fled with another man and a pram, according to the NYPD.
The man went to Mt. Sinai Hospital for treatment, police said.
