If you are going to bundle all three Dark Souls games and their DLC into a massive trilogy, you might as well give the trilogy the most lavish collector's edition possible. Briefly about a complete set of record tension or, if not, a real bonfire, the recently revealed European Collector's edition for Dark Souls Trilogy is just that.
The Dark Souls Trilogy came out in the US last October, but European fans will not get it until May 31. As a compensation for the delay, Bandai Namco has released 2,000 copies of the Soulsiest collector edition I've ever seen. With a staggering £ 450 (about $ 580), this edition includes:
- A 27.5 "painted knight figure complete with an Estus bonfire
- Six CDs with the audio tracks for all three games
- A 460- pages compendium with notes on key elements, a complete bestiary, illustrated map and a manuscript of all NPC dialogue from each game
The trilogy itself comes with Dark Souls: Remastered, Dark Souls 2 and its three DLC's and Dark Souls 3 plus both its DLCs, the collector's edition is of course meant for hardcore fans, but the trilogy is also a good pickup for beginners, hell, if you haven't played through all DLCs, it's probably worth it just for them a mind to buy it even for just having an excuse to play through again.
This has been a good month for extravagant collector's editions: check Metro Exodus Artyom Edition which is so rare that you can't even buy it.
