KNIK-FAIRVIEW, Alaska – Four small earthquakes hit different parts of Alaska at the weekend, according to an earthquake monitoring center.
pm. 18:04 Sunday hit an earthquake of 3.1 km 42 km east of Knik-Fairview, a city of about 900 people in the metropolitan area of Anchorage, said the Alaska Earthquake Center. The earthquake had a depth of 20 miles.
Kl. 11:48 Sunday hit an earthquake with a magnitude of the 3.0 Prince Alonsund region in Alaska, the center said. The earthquake hit a place about 39 km northwest of Valdez, which has about 3,900 residents. The residents of Valdez felt it, the center said. The earthquake had a depth of 1
at. 10:31 Saturday an earthquake hit 5.1 earth on the Andreanof Islands in Alaska, which lies about 11,200 km west of Anchorage. This earthquake had a depth of approx. 8 miles (13 kilometers).
At 7:39 am On Saturday, an earthquake of 2.9 km hit 7 km southwest of Sterling, a city of approx. 5,600 people, the center said. The earthquake had a depth of approx. 35 km and was felt in Sterling.
