"Girls" star Allison Williams and husband Ricky Van Veen have split after almost four years of marriage, Page Six learned.
In a joint statement, the couple told us only: "With common love and respect, it has decided to separate as a couple. We are grateful for the friendship we have and will continue to have."
The two are " distinctly different "according to a close friend – while they have not been mocked for several months.
A source known to the couple, told us, "Every time I saw Allison recently, Ricky has not been anywhere to see."
In fact, the last time they were actually seen was in public by the Oscar in March 201
Williams rose to fame in HBO hit the tension New Yorker Marnie Michaels – while Van Veen is currently head of global creative strategy on Facebook.
He made a fortune after co-founding comedy brand CollegeHumor and video platform Vimeo.
And a source told us, "Allison is really Type A, a real go-getter while Ricky is much more relaxed and laid-back. Things just haven't gone well lately."
The couple – who met in 2011 at a "Bachelor" show company – shared a $ 2 million apartment in Chelsea.
But we are told that they are now living apart.
Williams – who stood in Jordan Peele's breakout hit "Get Out" – recently caused a stir with his Netflix horror movie "The Perfection", which viewers are so cruel, it actually made them sick. She has filmed a survival thriller, "Horizon Line", about a pair stranded on an island after a plane crash.
