14:15: Chicago acquires the rights to forward Ryder Rolston and forward Josh Dickinson of Colorado in exchange for Carl Soderberg.

13.45: Not a trade, but Alex Iafallo is re-emerging in Los Angeles. It’s a four-year deal.
Chicago and Vancouver swap Matthew Highmore and Adam Gaudette.

13:00: Former Saber Dmitry Kulikov is on the road and travels to the Edmonton Oilers for a conditional fourth-round pick for the New Jersey Devils.
Mattias Janmark and 5th round to Vegas Golden Knights, Chicago Blackhawks get a 2nd round this year and a 3rd round next year.


0 AM: So far, it’s been a quiet morning, but here’s a reminder of the coming hours: Players must be on an AHL list or NHL taxi squad at 6 p.m. 15.00 ET to be eligible to be sent down to the AHL list at any time the rest of the season.
The Pittsburgh Penguins have brought in Jeff Carter for two conditional selections, a 2022 3rd and 2023 4th for the Los Angeles Kings.

8 AM: It’s official. The Sabers have sent Taylor Hall and Curtis Lazar to the Boston Bruins in exchange for striker Anders Bjork and another round. The trade did not break until around midnight.

Another one you may have missed overnight: The Penguins acquired Jeff Carter from the Los Angeles Kings in return for a couple of move choices.
