2 Norwalk schools are temporarily going away due to COVID cases




NORWALK – Students at Brien McMahon High School and Magnet School were temporarily switched to distance learning Friday after several people tested positive for COVID-19, district officials said.

Norwak Public Schools said in a statement late Thursday night that they learned that several members of the high school community had confirmed cases of the virus.

The school district said to allow time for contact tracking, McMahon and the Magnet High School Center for Global Studies were put on a distance learning day on Friday. Officials said that included staff and teachers.
