WAUWATOSA, Wis. – Two people were injured in a hit-and-run accident at the site of a pro-Trump demonstration in Wauwatosa on Saturday, November 21st.
Police said around noon. 11, that two pedestrians were hit by a vehicle at Mayfair Road and North Avenue and sustained minor injuries.
The striking driver fled the scene.

The rally took place Saturday morning at the intersection where the crash happened. Wauwatosa police said law enforcement was monitoring approximately 500 to 600 people lying on the sidewalks. According to a police statement Saturday afternoon, “overall, the meeting was peaceful.”
One person was arrested for “attempting to provoke an altercation” – issued a disturbance and was released.

“We appreciate that a majority of the group stayed on the sidewalk, which allowed traffic to move through the area. Wauwatosa police continue to support the first amendment right to rally peacefully,” police said in the statement.
