14 new COVID-19 deaths in Saturday’s case count from UDOH



New cases
3,395 new COVID-19 cases have been reported, bringing the total state to 173,979.

Testing
16,270 new tests have been reported since Friday’s case count. 1,315,034 people have now been tested for COVID-19 in Utah.
The rolling seven-day average for positive cases is now 3,229 per. Day or approx. 23.7% of those tested.

Admissions
551 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. There have been 7,458 people in Utah hospitalized in connection with the virus since March.

4 new deaths have been reported, bringing the state number of deaths to 787. The recently reported deaths include:

  • Woman aged 65-84, resident of Salt Lake County, resident in long-term care
  • Woman between 25-44 years old, resident of Salt Lake County, hospitalized at time of death
  • Female, over the age of 85, resident of Salt Lake County, resident in long-term care
  • Male, aged over 85, resident of Weber County, resident in long-term care
  • Male, age 65-84, resident of Salt Lake County, hospitalized at time of death
  • Male, aged 65-84, resident of Salt Lake County, resident in long-term care
  • Male, age 65-84, resident of Salt Lake County, hospitalized at time of death
  • Male, aged over 85, resident of Utah County, resident in long-term care
  • Male, between 65-84, resident of Wasatch County, resident in long-term care
