10 non-rookies with something to prove at Eagles OTAs

This practice does not have pads or frames or even something that really looks like real football.

It's still a chance for players with lots to prove.

Eaglesne extinguish the OTAs this week and we already know rookie class would like to prove that they belong in the NFL, so we take them out of our thought process for a moment. Because OTA is also a proof of boys who have already been in the league.

Here are 10 at Eagles roster:

Nate Sudfeld
Eaglesne brought Cody Kessler to compete with Sudfeld, but Sudfeld goes into his third season with the eagle, while this becomes Kessler's third team in three years. Eagles already paid Sudfeld $ 3 million for this season, so they have an interest in winning the backup job. And Sudfeld should have an advantage based on his knowledge of the offense. He was to come out in these OTAs and be in good spirits ahead of Kessler and build a leadership that cannot be overcome.

Three Sullivan
Eagles signed Andrew Sendejo and claimed Blake Countess, but Tre Sullivan still has a chance to win Eagles' rather important third security job. Abandoned from Shepard in 201

7, Sullivan played important snaps late in 2018 and may have more room to grow. Sendejo is not a lock for the team, and Countess has not played a ton on the defense in the league.

Cre & # 39; Von LeBlanc
One of the great revelations last season was LeBlanc, which the ears claimed to renounce in November. He shored up the nickel corner back spot and now "Strap" has a chance to win a job again this season, but there is some competition. LeBlanc needs to prove last year was not a fluke.

Mack Hollins
After a decent rookie season for a fourth round, Hollins lost his 2017 season mysteriously. A few days later he said he was healthy, put his ears on IR, and we haven't seen him since. He is probably healthy now and he needs to prove it.

Braxton Miller
He came aboard during the last season as an exercise pad player, but can still have upside. The previous third round pick is 26, but is relatively new to the receiver position. Doug Pederson has told Miller this offseason, so maybe he could find a role as a gadget gamer / returning man.

Treyvon Hester
Eagles added Hassan Ridgeway to a trade, but Hester can still fight to play time, which will be somewhat limited behind Fletcher Cox, Malik Jackson and Tim Jernigan. Horses should have an advantage because he has been in the defense for a while and already gave Eagle's solid snaps last season.

Josh Sweat
It was a disappointing rookie season for Sweat who played only 68 schnapps with four tackles before the end of the year at IR with an ankle injury in December. But he certainly looks that part, and important spring and summer camps await him as he fights for a roastery.

Greg Ward
After a brief moment in the short-term AAF, Ward has another shot at an NFL roster. The former college QB is another like Miller who could become a gadget / return man in the NFL, but his chances run out.

Nathan Gerry
A fifth round pick in 2017, Gerry hasn & # 39; I got many opportunities for defense, but he played 134 snaps last season. He is fighting for a roast scene with Paul Worrilow, T.J. Edwards and B.J. Bello. Things to keep in mind about Gerry is that he is making a position switch from university security and is more athletic than the guys. I still think of his chances.

Blake Countess
Eagles claimed Countess and then extended him for a year, but that extension also included a paycheck in 2019. So how much can they really like him? We're starting to see it pretty soon. First, Countess must show that he has learned a thing or two in his years away from the ears. Like Tre Sullivan, he will fight to play time this year if he does the team.
